  6. Hallo! DFUe mit dem Original C64 ist
  7. eine teure und recht umstaendliche An-
  8. gelegenheit. Fuer Besitzer von C64 UND
  9. AMIGA gibt es hier ein geniales 
  10. TerminalPRG mit dem man vom Amiga aus
  11. C64 Mailboxen anwaehlen kann! Das ge-
  12. niale daran ist, dass man am Amiga 
  13. sehr billig Festplatten und Speicher-
  14. erweiterungen bekommt, so dass man
  15. den Gesamtinhalt von C64 Boxen "in
  16. einem Rutsch" saugen kann um dann
  17. Offline darin zu stoebern. Im fol-
  18. genden haben wir die Original C64DOOR
  19. Einfuehrung auf den C64 uebertragen.
  20. Das PRG findet Ihr auf der 
  21. Amiga-FISH-Disk 937. Diese Diskette
  22. bekommt ihr bei jedem Amiga PD
  23. Haendler (auch auf CD-ROM-Sammlungen).

  29.                          The Commodore 64 Door

  34.         This software allows you to call Commodore 64 BBS systems in
  35. the special C64-specific terminal mode commonly referred to as 'C/G
  36. mode'.  The entire C64 character sets are included, along with all features
  37. of the standard C/G terminal emulation, with the added feature of 80
  38. columns which is unavailable on most C64 terminal packages.  Due to
  39. the fact that the keyboards of the C64 and the Amiga are not identical,
  40. many of the keys have to be substituted.  This is explained in detail
  41. in the Keys section of this document.

  44. Options:
  45. --------
  46. Baud Rate       - Choose between 300, 1200, 2400, and 9600.  The default
  47.                     is 2400.
  48.  
  49. Columns         - 40 or 80  (40 is the standard for the C64, but some prefer
  50.                     80 columns).  The default is 80.
  51.  
  52. Duplex          - Full duplex means no local echo (for calling BBSes).  This
  53.                     is the default.
  54.                 - Half duplex means all characters entered from the keyboard
  55.                     are echoed.

  57. Keys:
  58. -----
  59. * Both Amiga keys act as the C= (Commodore) key on the C64 keyboard
  60.  
  61. * The F9 key acts as the home key (same as CTRL-S)
  62.  
  63. * The F10 key acts as the Clr key
  64.  
  65. * The ESC key acts as the Run/Stop key
  66.  
  67. * The (Backslash) (Anm.ROF-REDAX: Dieses / Zeichen andersrum gibts am C64
  68.   nicht, man nimmt deshalb \.) key acts as the pound key on the C64 keyboard.
  69.   Actually, the C64 pound character and the standard (/andersrum) character
  70.   have the same ascii code.

  72. * The ^ key (Shift-6) acts as the C64's up arrow character
  73.  
  74. * Holding Shift and Amiga toggles cases, just like Shift and Commodore
  75.     on the C64 keyboard

  77. * Both the backspace and DEL keys act as the C64's Inst/Del key
  78.     - The insert mode works too
  79.  
  80. * All the color keys and Reverse on/off codes are available
  81.     CTRL-1 to CTRL-8, and Amiga-1 to Amiga-8 are colors, CTRL-9
  82.     is reverse on, CTRL-0 is reverse off

  84. * The HELP key enters the option menu
  85.  
  86. * The space bar and the enter key can be used to abort the QPD logo
